Athlete & Dancer Hormone Health Webinar

The Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba (CSCM) and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) present a virtual session with Dr. Nicky Keay on Athlete and Dancer Hormone Health.

Recorded during the live Zoom webinar on November 28, 2022, this replay allows you to join us as we learn why and how optimizing hormone health helps athletes and dancers perform their best and how to avoid dysregulation of hormones that occurs during RED-S. About Dr. Keay

Dr Nicola Keay, BA, MA, MB, BChir (Cantab), MRCP 

Nicky is Honorary Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Medicine University College London. She lectures and researches in areas of exercise endocrinology, with publications in this field. Nicky’s clinical endocrine work is mainly with exercisers, dancers and athletes, with a focus on relative energy deficiency in sport (RED-S) and athletes navigating perimenopause/menopause. Nicky authored the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine (BASM) Health4performance.co.uk online resource. Nicky has developed a novel clinical tool, modelling female hormones over the menstrual cycle using Artificial Intelligence techniques, to provide a more personalised approach for female hormone health. Nicky’s book “Health Hormones and Human Potential: A guide to understanding your hormones to optimise your health and performance” was published 28/10/22.
