Sport Dietetics is integral in developing a high performing athlete.
At the Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba, we will identify the best eating and drinking strategies to fuel your performance and maximize your results. Our Director of Sport Dietetics, Jorie Janzen, brings more than 12 years of knowledge and practical experience in sports nutrition. Jorie will work to create a customized meal plan based on the health, needs, preferences and dietary restrictions of the athlete, in order maximize general health, immunity, energy, focus, growth and body composition and recovery.
Once a full analysis is performed, recommendations are made to address nutrient adequacy, pre- and post-training patterns, carb intake, weight management, supplement intake, consuming food and beverage in social situations or during the holidays, food preparation, recipe ideas and much more.
