CSCM welcomes Adam Decker as Performance Science and Talent ID Lead
Winnipeg, MB – The Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba (CSCM) is excited to welcome Adam Decker to our team in the role of Performance Science and Talent ID Lead.
Adam has spent the last six years at Sport Manitoba, most recently as the Senior Manager of Athlete Development. In that role, he worked extensively with Provincial Sport Organizations and their athletes on their performance plans.
“I am very excited for the challenge this new role brings. The prospect of working directly with Olympic and Paralympic bound athletes while creating a province-wide Talent Identification program to uncover untapped potential is a professional opportunity I couldn’t be happier to pursue,” says Decker.
“We are thrilled that Adam has decided to apply his considerable skills to the task of finding and developing future Olympic and Paralympic athletes in Manitoba,” says Jeff Powell, CSCM General Manager.
“His addition rounds out a sport science team without equal in the province.”
In addition to his sport system work in Manitoba, Adam works with the internationally renowned Cirque du Soleil and its school as a performance science consultant. He also played a significant role in the design, operational planning and fit-out of the $24 million Canada Games Sport for Life Centre.
Adam will be beginning his role on January 15, 2018 and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
