Need for Perfection

It is empowering to realize that things don’t have to be perfect for you to race and compete well. Once we recognize that it is not about perfection, but about how we respond and adapt it becomes even more exciting to compete. What if you challenged yourself to master other things related to performance? What if you mastered noticing when you were distracted and bringing your attention back to things that are beneficial to focus on? Or breathing to calm as a part of your performance routine if you find that helpful? At the end of the day, racing well is about execution and focusing on the performance.
