It is not about being calm in the face of pressure. It is about staying in charge of yourself emotionally. You just need to be calm enough to be in control. If you notice you are getting stressed, take a breath; and find something to focus on in your environment. Remind yourself of your goals; and then go out there and focus on executing one or two things. You can remain dialed into the process and stay committed to your goals even when you are stressed and anxious. It’s not about being calm. It’s about being calm enough to be in the moment.
