Athlete Spotlight: Leanne Taylor

Published On: July 12, 2023

Leanne Taylor exudes joy. She is fiercely determined, incredibly strong and inspiring in her focus. In addition to those competitive qualities, every time we see her, she is genuinely happy and choosing to see the good.

Leanne recently marked the five year anniversary of a cycling accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. In five years, she has adapted to life in a wheelchair and become one of the top paratriathletes in the world.

CSCM is thrilled to support Leanne on her path to Paris 2024.

I think the world sometimes says something is difficult so we shouldn’t do it, rather than realizing, this is difficult but that’s ok. If it’s worth it, go for it.

Canada Life, one of Leanne’s sponsors, recently produced a short video about Leanne’s journey and we highly recommend taking the time to watch it here.

“Triathlon is a sport that pushes you to extremes that you didn’t know you could accomplish.”
